Andrzej Sebastian Duda: Politician and Lawyer

Early Life and Career

Andrzej Sebastian Duda was born on May 16, 1972, in Kraków, Poland. He studied law at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków and later earned a doctorate in law from the same university.

Political Career

Duda entered politics in 1997 when he joined the conservative Law and Justice party (PiS). He was elected to the Sejm, the lower house of the Polish parliament, in 2005 and served until 2007. In 2014, he was elected to the European Parliament.

Duda was elected President of Poland in 2015. He is allied with the right-wing opposition and has been criticized for his close ties to the new pro-European Union Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

Visit to New York

Andrzej Duda is visiting New York this week to meet with European leaders and discuss the possibility of Donald Trump's return to the White House.

Duda's visit comes as European leaders are preparing for the possibility of Trump's return to power in 2024. Trump has repeatedly hinted at a possible comeback, and his supporters are eagerly awaiting his announcement.

It is unclear what impact Trump's return to the White House would have on Poland or Europe as a whole. However, Duda's visit to New York is a sign that European leaders are taking Trump's potential return seriously.
