Early Life and Career

Carlos Sainz Vázquez de Castro, born on September 1, 1994, is a Spanish racing driver hailing from Madrid, Spain. He is the son of rally legend Carlos Sainz. Sainz Jr. began his racing career in karting, where he quickly rose through the ranks. He made his single-seater debut in Formula 3 in 2012 and went on to win the Formula Renault 3.5 Series title in 2014.

Formula 1 Career

Sainz made his Formula 1 debut in 2015 with Toro Rosso, a sister team of Red Bull. He impressed in his first season, scoring points in several races.
