Devil Wears Prada 2: Anne Hathaway Says It's "Not Possible"
Anne Hathaway has cast doubt on the possibility of a sequel to The Devil Wears Prada.
Despite the film's continued popularity, Hathaway says that a sequel is unlikely.
Anne Hathaway has said that she doubts a sequel to The Devil Wears Prada will ever happen.
The 2006 film, which starred Hathaway as Andy Sachs, an aspiring journalist who lands a job as an assistant to Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep), the demanding editor-in-chief of a fashion magazine, was a huge hit, grossing over $326 million worldwide.
However, Hathaway has said that she doesn't think a sequel would be possible now.
"I don't think it's possible," she told Extra.
"I think that movie was a product of its time and I think it's so perfect as it is.
"I don't think you could do a sequel without it feeling like a retread."
