Luke McGregor had to do a ‘sexy dance’ on The Amazing Race – with his mum

The comedian reveals all about his awkward Amazing Race moment

The comedian and actor, who is competing on the reality show with his mother, Marie, told news.com.au that the challenge was “mortifying”.

“It was one of the most awkward experiences of my life,” he said.

“We had to do a salsa dance in front of a crowd of people, and I was so embarrassed.

“But my mum was great. She just went for it and didn’t care what anyone else thought.”

McGregor said he was initially reluctant to do the dance, but his mother convinced him to give it a go.

“She said, ‘Come on, Luke. It’ll be fun,” he said.

“So I did it, and it was actually a lot of fun. I think I even got a few laughs from the crowd.

“But I’m still not sure if I’ll ever be able to live it down.”

McGregor and his mother are one of four teams competing on the current season of The Amazing Race.

The show sees the teams race around the world, completing challenges and tasks in order to win a cash prize.

McGregor said he and his mother are having a great time on the show, but they are also finding it challenging.

“It’s a lot of hard work, but it’s also a lot of fun,” he said.

“We’re learning a lot about each other, and we’re getting to see some amazing places.”

McGregor said he is not sure how far he and his mother will go in the competition, but he is determined to give it their best shot.

“We’re just going to take it one day at a time and see how far we can go,” he said.

“But I know that we’re going to have a lot of fun along the way.
